Today i'm having a little blog about technology. What I think about the Learning 2.0program so far is that most of the things I would actually use myself i was already using, but it has been good to find out about a few other things that I would never go near (until maybe I retire in the far distant future) because I don't have endless time in my day to play and when i do play I quite like books, movies, knitting and things you can do not sitting at a keyboard. BUT it is v useful to know about these things because it gives us new ways of seeing how younger users can engage more actively with the Library, and helps me to understand how they might prefer that kind of engagement - so at least I know how to look out for ways to create opportunities for this to happen.

This time Zoho didn't crash my PC, so better progress! I shall see what I can do with this document - maybe it will end up on my blog?

Well it did, but only because i copied and pasted it on. Couldn't remember my blogger password while I was in Zoho, so couldn't publish it from there. Obviously better record keeping is needed to keep track of all these pesky passwords!

A bad afternoon

As i continue my mad dash through the program I hit the wall today. Flickr just got on my nerves - thought anyone who posted was incredibly self indulgent. Couldn't be bothered with it at all, but managed to email myself quite a nice image. Couldn't work how to save images, but was very impatient, so didn't hang arounsd. Might try again on a quiet weekend when feeling less pressured.

Then the Zoho thing crashed my PC. better luck tomorrow!

Done enough of this for today. Will try to finish weeks 6-9 tomorrow.
Speeding through week 5 with tagging. i liked Librarything best, but having no particular impulse to unviersal self disclosure, i'm not linking to my catalogue
Now i've done the bit on RSS feeds. i might actually use this myself, I think
Well I've done the wiki bit now. I don't think i'm a natural blogger.
